(  ) Limited Registration: The puppy/dog is a purebred Golden Retriever and has been pre-registered with the AKC and is being sold with limited AKC registration. Breeder agrees to provide Buyer with all AKC registration papers. As such, the puppy is not eligible for exhibiting in Conformation (but may compete in other performance events, such as Agility, Obedience, and Rally). The puppy shall not be bred at any time and if pups are produced, such offspring will not be eligible for AKC registration. Unauthorized Breeding: The puppy is being sold solely as a companion and breeding of the puppy is expressly prohibited. If at any time the puppy has produced any offspring, the Buyer must contact the Breeder immediately and will pay an “unauthorized breeding fee” of $5000, all of Breeder’s warranties set forth in this Agreement will become null and void.

Contract Conditions

Breeder is the lawful owner of the puppy and has the right to transfer ownership of the puppy to the Buyer. Ownership of the puppy will be transferred to Buyer upon Buyer’s payment of the final Purchase Price and signing this contract. Buyer verifies all information is true and correct. Breeder guarantees that puppy has had proper care to date and has been checked by a veterinarian. Puppy has received its first shots and had one round of deworming.

The final Purchase Price of $____________  (plus 6% sales tax for Idaho residents) is agreed upon with the balance due in full upon Buyer’s pickup of the puppy. Any shipping and handling expenses are the responsibility of and shall be paid by Buyer. All payments due under this Agreement shall be made in US Dollars and paid to the breeder via cash or cashier’s check. No electronic payments (Venmo, Paypal, Credit Card, etc.) nor personal or business checks are accepted for the final balance.

A Deposit shall be made after Buyer is approved by Breeder through their puppy application process. The Deposit shall be applied to the final Purchase Price. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Deposit payments may be made through Venmo, Paypal, personal or business check and will be applied to the final purchase price.

Buyer, at its own expense, must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours (or 3 business days) of picking up the puppy in order for the health guarantee to remain valid. Worms, fleas, mites, coccidiosis, giardia, or any other parasites are common in dogs and puppies and are not part of our health guarantee. The breeder does not assume any liability for any injuries made to the puppy after the puppy leaves the breeder’s property. The veterinarian must provide a written statement deeming the puppy/dog “unfit for purchase”, which must be sent to Breeder within 48 hours of the veterinary examination.

The Breeder provides a two year warranty from the puppy/dog’s date of birth against any debilitating congenital conditions. Breeder guarantees the puppy will be unaffected by the following genetic health conditions only:

Crippling dysplasia requiring surgery or euthanasia

Congenital eye disease as diagnosed by a board certified veterinary ophthalmologist

Testable and preventable disabling problems of genetic origin that prevent the dog from functioning as a family companion

Documentation is required, with illness listed and proven, as well as a second opinion from the breeder's vet of choice before actions will be taken to enforce the warranty terms.

In the event that a Boise Goldens dog is suspected of having a hereditary defect, this is the procedure to follow:

  1. Notify us of your concern.

  2. Submit hip x-rays to OFA (we do NOT accept Penn Hip readings, only OFA). We also require that you send us a copy of the test results that confirm the defect. Breeder does not pay veterinary fees, or any other associated costs such as shipping, OFA fees etc.

  3. If the dog cannot obtain a normal hip or eye certification, or has a hereditary problem precluding it to be nonfunctional or the dog needs to be put to sleep by your veterinarian, a letter from your vet stating that he has done so must be sent to us.

The entire purchase price of any dog covered by this warranty may be applied to a puppy from the next available Boise Goldens litter of your choice if the dog is deemed nonfunctional or put to sleep. Breeder has the right to, at any time, decide to stop breeding English Cream Golden Retrievers. In this case, no replacement puppies shall be given and this contract is null and void.

To be covered by our warranty:

  1. The dog must be owned by the original buyer as stated on the Bill of Sale and not have changed owners.

  2. The dog must not have whelped or sired a litter.

  3. The dog must be under 24 months of age.

  4. The dog must have been spayed or neutered prior to its second birthday.

  5. All Boise Goldens puppies will need to be given NuVet Plus K9 Wafers daily supplements for the first two years of life. This daily treat offers key nutrients for immune and tummy support while your puppy transitions to a new home and will continue to offer total body support through each stage of life.

  6. Never allow your dog to become obese or underfed at any time. No evidence of abuse or trauma (broken bones, related injuries, etc). We are not responsible for accidents, negligence or poisonings.

  7. The Buyer must continue the proper dewormer and vaccinations appropriate to their age. If these vaccines administered by our vet are ignored once the puppy finds a new home, the vaccination process is started over this contract is void.

If a buyer decides for any reason that he/she cannot keep their Boise Goldens dog, Breeder must be notified and given first right of refusal to obtain said dog. It is our goal that no puppy of ours will ever end up in a rescue or shelter situation. We want to help you re-home a dog, no matter the circumstances.

Note: There have been multiple studies done regarding hip and elbow dysplasia and linking it to over exercising and lack of nutrition. Please be aware of this and take this into consideration while raising a new pup. If this warranty has to be used, questions will be asked about exercising and nutrition that may also void the contract.
